One of the great things about the Internet is that you do not need to have your own products or services to sell. In fact, now you can sell just about anything – if you can find the right market and penetrate it effectively.
Indeed, one of the great strengths of the Internet is that you can choose what you want to sell. In fact, there is nothing to stop you from selling a whole variety of completely disparate products and services – although if they are very different usually you will have to set up a different selling platform (such as a website) for each distinct area. But how do you find products and services to sell? Well, there a number of Internet brokers who act as intermediaries between businesses wanting to sell their products and services and people (like you) who want to sell them.

So, using Commission Junction is overhead free – a great plus for any Internet marketer.
Of course, you need to know how to sell someone else’s products and services into the marketplace. This needs to be done very effectively to make you money, with there being many different ways of doing this, as we explain in The Laptop Entrepreneur. Certainly, one very effective way of obtaining traffic and market penetration is through a Blog which is well integrated with social media. This is because a Blog can position you as an ‘authority’ within a given area and someone who others (your potential buyers) feel they can trust. Indeed, to some extent, this tends to be the classic reason for setting up a Blog, which can become a superb sales platform from which to sell other people’s products and services.
Obviously, the wonderful aspect to selling other businesses products and services is that the business you create is almost risk-free! As you do not have to create something new to sell you also do not have to waste time and money developing a product or service any more (thankfully) nor do you have to handle the products or personally deliver the services you sell. That is all done by the business whose products or services you are selling – who deal with the sales leads that you supply. Happy days!
