Why Tom McKerley wrote Bloodlines

As a youngster, I had the desire to be a journalist. In those days, I will not mention the time period, it was extremely difficult to enter the media world in Scotland unless you had close family contacts in the industry. So, maybe the writing need surfaced again all these years later.

3rd novel out 11 Nov – Bloodlines – Touch Not the Cat

It’s not everyday that I am asked whether I might be interested in publishing an expat novel, but when the Scottish genealogy mystery, Bloodlines, landed on my desk it was a no-brainer to publish it. With US detective Cathy Macpherson at its centre, this novel is partly based on facts that surround Ballindalloch in Scotland and is completely unputdownable. Co-authored by Scottish Tom and Dutch Ingrid, it’s fascinating to the core. I can’t wait for it to be released on 11 November 2011.
