Author Interviews

In Conversation with Olga Mecking, Author of Niksen: Embracing the Dutch Art of Doing Nothing

Olga Mecking is an amazing example of an expat writer, who hit on a great idea and had publishers fighting over her book, Niksen: Embracing the Dutch Art of Doing Nothing.

She wrote it in a year, despite having three young children and it has now been translated into umpteen languages.

Is she bionic?

How did she do it? (Bearing in mind English isn’t even her first language!)

To find out this and ask questions of your own please register for Jo Parfitt’s free In Conversation event on Thursday 26th November at 2pm – just click this link.

In the meantime, read Olga Mecking in the New York Times.
